Gingerbread Village 2019

Sugar, spice and all things nice – Epicure’s Gingerbread Village has a new home in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. Now located at Level 1 St Collins Lane, this year’s village is our biggest yet! Over 600kg of gingerbread, 460kg of royal icing and 200kg of marzipan has been lovingly sculpted into some of Melbourne’s most iconic landmarks.

Take a peek inside, and you’ll see Gingerbread Villagers strolling around some familiar favourites, such as Luna Park and Federation Square, and some wonderful new additions – Melbourne’s beloved Shrine of Remembrance and a Royal Botanical Gardens.

EPICURE'S pastry chefs will also be baking and selling delicious treats – the perfect Christmas gifts for friends and family!

The Gingerbread Village has more than 396,876 visitors since opening. In 2018, more than 9,500 people visited the village in the five days of it opening, and over 54,000 people throughout the Christmas period. Last year, the Gingerbread Village raised more than $30,118 to help sick children at the Royal Children’s Hospital and has raised more than $195,863 since opening.

Entry to the Gingerbread Village is by nominal gold coin donation, with all proceeds going to the Royal Children's Hospital. To make a donation, please visit rchfoundation.org.au/gingerbread
