Queens Theatre

A grand old dame

Built in 1840, the Queens Theatre is the oldest purpose-built theatre on mainland Australia and of national heritage significance. Remarkably intact after a lively century and a half as theatre, law courts, factory, city mission and even horse bazaar, the Theatre is a richly atmospheric venue. Ideal for themed banquet dinners accommodating up to 200 and cocktail receptions to 300 guests.
