Our Philosophies |
At EPICURE the philosophy of Living the Good Life is at the heart of everything we do. From the farmers we choose, to the venues we use, the quality of life our produce enjoys and the green credentials of our suppliers. By engaging in the best possible practices in every way, we aim to ensure that the good life comes to life for everyone associated with us. Which means minimum harm and maximum enjoyment for everyone.

Food Philosophy |
Why EPICURE'S food tastes so good.
We developed our food philosophy in 2007, with the unique aim of striving to use locally grown and produced foods wherever possible, to offer the best quality seasonal menus. Today, we're proud to be at the forefront of ethically responsible catering. We continue to be completely committed to sourcing and working with suppliers who demonstrate the best possible practices. We never use cage-reared eggs
and we use free–range poultry and free–range smallgoods wherever possible. We use Australian farmed or wild seafood. We source local nuts, grains, vinegar and mineral water. We use Fair Trade coffee and Australian orange juice. And we do it in a way that makes everyone feel good; by ensuring our food is ethically and locally grown, and sustainably produced. Because at the end of the day, nothing tastes as good as a clear conscience.

Social Philosophy |
How EPICURE helps those less fortunate to Live the Good Life.
EPICURE strongly believes in putting back into the community, so that those less fortunate can enjoy a taste of the good life too. As a minimum standard each of our venues is working with one organisation that is actively involved with assisting individuals and community groups who are less fortunate than ourselves.
One such organisation is SecondBite, who source nutritious, surplus food and produce that might otherwise go to waste, and then distribute it to agencies and people in need. This enables us to minimise our food wastage while helping others less fortunate than ourselves.

Another organisation EPICURE work with in South Australia
are OzHarvest. Rescuing excess food and redistributing to
charities in Adelaide, OzHarvest have been able to provide
good food to those who need it most, as well as diverting
excess food from landfill.

EPICURE'S commitment to a healthier planet.
Our pro-active environmental credentials are second to
none in Australian catering. As well as using suppliers who
engage in sustainable practices, and lowering our carbon
footprint by using more local suppliers, EPICURE is proud to be accredited as a certified Green Table Australian Business
in both Victoria and South Australia. An international initiative, Green Table requires caterers to commit to:
- Reduce energy and water use
- Environmentally dispose of waste
- Ensure best policy recycling practices
- Ensure that all packaging and paper products are biodegradable and made using environmentally sustainable practices.
We're proud to be a part of helping to create a healthier planet, to ensure future generations can enjoy the good life.
